C# game developer

Yigovia the videogame is a personal and scholarly project which I and two colleagues decided to undertake. Yigovia tells the story of a young farmer that has been captived and locked in a dungeon, this young man is waked up by a mysterious woman who gives him the clues to escape.

The main goal of the game is to escape from the dungeon by jumping out of a window located in the last level room. In order to enter to the final room, the player will need to follow the instructions of Elyena. These orders consist of clearing the surrounding rooms, receiving keys after the defeating of each room boss. With the three rooms clear the player will have three keys and with these keys, the last room will be open, and the final battle will begin. The setting of this game is in medieval Russia, that is why we decide to compose a simple OST called “Yigovia Beginning” based on ancient Russian folk music. Our player and enemy skins are based on medieval era armors with some epic and mythic modifications. We determined to develop a game with the gender of dungeon crawler because the market is full of battle royal and competitive or casual games, there are few games like Stardew Valley that focus on the user experience and in the setting of the game. We think that this game is different and unique although it is conceptualized as a dungeon crawler.
